Anyone who travels need hotels. It's a travelling kind of thing, but you shouldn't have to tolerate service that's not good enough. Here are a few tips to get the best deal you can from your hotel experience.
1. You should not choose a room close to an lift, or close to an ice machine, or other type of machinery. It may seem fine before you go to bed. But afterwards as you lie in the dark you'll become aware of the vibrations and become aware of the smallest noises all the way until morning.

***** 5 star hotels - simply sumptuous luxury.
**** 4 star hotels - still quite magnificent.
*** 3 star hotels - probably the quality of hotel most of us use.
** 2 star hotels - still acceptable, but with less frills.
* 1 star hotels - the economy range. | 2. If you cannot get a room removed from outside sounds, bear in mind to pack a pair of earplugs before setting forth. You can get by by ramming soft paper inside your ears, however, a correctly made product of earplugs will be much more effective and give a more natural feeling, giving you a far superior rest for the night.
3. Check your hotel room alarm clock to produce sure it has been turned off. Every so often former guests whose sense of humor is wierd set the alarm clock in the hotel room to a time in the 'wee small hours' for a bit of fun. They probably think it hilarious as they do it, but I'll bet that when it rings at 5am, you won't laugh when you come awake all of a sudden and find yourself in darkness, not knowing where you are while an alarm clock making a deafening noise to waken the dead!
4. Before getting into bed for the night, keep in mind the direct path from the bed to where the toilet is, and be clear that the route is not cluttered up with unnecessary things. If you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night you can usually fall asleep again with ease. But it wont be so easy if you stub your toe on some hard object cast aside on the path from your bed to the bathroom.
5. Be sure that the blinds of your room windows are fully closed. Bright sunlight in the morning focussing on your face through a gap in the drapes can rouse you from your dreams quicker than you'd ever think. And its often the closing moments of your sleep that have no equal. Do nothing that might spoil times such as these.
But remember, when all's said and done what happens in the hotel is up to you, and what you do is up to you. Of course my way of coping with a hotel room always help me out on the road when hotels are a necessity, so why not try these tips.
