Tips regarding pet friendly hotels st augustine fla

pet friendly hotels st augustine flaThose of us who travel seek out hotels. Its part of the travelling deal, but you shouldn't have to tolerate less than acceptable service. You can use this advice to get the most you can expect from your hotel stay.

1. Avoid taking a room near by an elevator, or in the vicinity of an ice maker, or other type of machinery. You may be satisfied with how things are prior to going to bed. But afterwards with the room darkened you will feel the vibrations and hear the smallest noises all night long.

***** 5 star hotels - simply sumptuous luxury.

**** 4 star hotels - still quite magnificent.

*** 3 star hotels - probably the quality of hotel most of us use.

** 2 star hotels - still acceptable, but with less frills.

* 1 star hotels - the economy range.

2. If a room can't be found away from external noises, don't forget to stow away a pair of earplugs before setting off. You can improvise by shoving toilet paper into your ears, but an approved couple of earplugs are like to have more effect and give a more natural feeling, providing you with a greatly improved nights sleep.

3. Check your hotel room alarm clock to produce sure it has been turned off. Sometimes prior hotel visitors with a strange sense of humour set the alarm clock in the hotel room to some ungodly hour for a practical joke. Probably, they find it most amusing when they do it, but I'll bet that when it rings at 5am, you won't laugh when you wake up in a strange darkened room as an alarm clock ringing loudly!

4. Prior to slipping between the sheets, remember the way from your cosy bed to the bathroom, and be clear that the route is not cluttered up with unnecessary things. If a trip to the bathroom become necessary later you can usually fall asleep again with ease. But it wont be so easy if you stub your toe on the side of a shoe left lying on the path from your bed to the bathroom.

5. Make a careful check that the drapes on each window have no little gaps in them. Bright sunlight in the morning focussing on your face through a gap in the drapes will bring you awake much faster than you really want to know. It's always the closing moments of your sleep that are the best. Don't upset those precious moments.

But remember, at the end of the day its your hotel experience, and the world's your oyster. Of course my advice always help me out on the road when hotels are a necessity, so I recommend giving them a try.
