Those of us who travel have a need for hotels. It's a travelling kind of thing, but you dont have to put up with less than acceptable service. You can use this advice to get the best deal you can from your hotel experience.
1. You should not choose a room next to an lift, or anywhere near an ice maker, or any other kind of vending machine. Everything might appear perfect before you go to bed. 4. Before getting into bed for the night, remember the path you need to take between your bed and the bathroom, and be clear that the route is not cluttered up with unnecessary things. If you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night you can usually fall asleep again with ease. But you're likely to stay wide awake if you stub your toe on the side of a shoe left lying between you and the toilet door.
5. Make a careful check that the drapes of your room windows are fully closed. An early morning shaft of sunlight hitting your closed eyelids through a gap in the drapes can rouse you from your dreams quicker than you'd care to know. And its often those last hours of sleep that are the best. Don't upset those precious moments.
