Knowledge base on Hilton Hotels in Prestwick
Those of us who travel want hotels. It's a travelling kind of thing, but you ought not to have to suffer less than acceptable service. You can use this advice to get the best out of your hotel stay.
1. Dont get a room near an elevator, or close to an ice maker, or any other kind of vending machine. Everything might appear perfect prior to going to bed. However, with the room darkened you will feel the movements and become aware of the tiniest of noises all night long.

***** 5 star hotels - simply sumptuous luxury.
**** 4 star hotels - still quite magnificent.
*** 3 star hotels - probably the quality of hotel most of us use.
** 2 star hotels - still acceptable, but with less frills.
* 1 star hotels - the economy range. | 2. If a suitable room can't be obtained removed from outside sounds, remember to bring along a pair of earplugs prior to setting forth. You can improvise by ramming toilet paper into your ears, but an approved couple of earplugs will work much better and give a more natural feeling, providing you with a much better rest for the night.
3. Take a close look at the alarm clock in your room to make sure it has been turned off. It has been known that former hotel visitors with a strange sense of humour set the room alarm clock to an unforgiveably early hour as their idea of a joke. It may seem funny to them at the time, but I'll bet that when it rings at 5am, you won't laugh when you wake up and find yourself in darkness, not knowing where you are as an alarm clock making a deafening noise to waken the dead!
4. Prior to slipping between the sheets, don't forget the way from your cosy bed to the bathroom, and be certain that there are no obstruction in the way. If you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night you can usually fall asleep again with ease. But you're likely to stay wide awake should you bang your foot on some hard object cast aside between you and the toilet door.
5. Be sure that the blinds on each window are fully closed. A ray of sunshine focussing on your face through a gap in the drapes will bring you awake much faster than you'd ever think. Of course, it's usually the final moments of slumber that have no equal. Do nothing that might spoil times such as these.
However, at the end of the day it's your life, and you're free to make your own choices. But my advice are useful to me when Im travelling and using hotels, so why not try these tips.
