People who move around a lot require hotels. It's a travelling kind of thing, but you dont have to put up with unnacceptable service . You should use these suggestions to get the best deal you can from your hotel stay.
1. Dont get a room near by an elevator, or close to an ice maker, or any other kind of vending machine. Everything might appear perfect before you go to bed. 3. Check your hotel room alarm clock to make sure it has been turned off. It has been known that former guests who have a wierd idea of what's funny set the room alarm clock to a time in the 'wee small hours' for a practical joke. It may seem funny to them at the time, but you wont laugh at 4am when you come awake all of a sudden with pitch darkness all around in an unfamiliar place with an alarm clock making a deafening noise to waken the dead!
4. Before getting into bed for the night, don't forget the route from your bed to the toilet, and make sure the path is completely clear. If you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night you can usually fall asleep again with ease. However, you'll find it much more difficult if you injure your toes on the heel of one of your shoes left lying between you and the toilet door.
5. Make a careful check that the drapes covering the windows are tightly shut. A glare of sun hitting your closed eyelids through a gap in the drapes can awaken you more easily than you'd care to know. And its often the closing moments of your sleep that are the best. Be careful not to interfere with such a special time.
On the other hand, when all's said and done it's you that's booking the room, and you're free to make your own choices. However these strategies are useful to me when Im travelling and using hotels, so I'm recommending those strategies to you.
